Charles Manthe 20...Personal Statement
My name is Charles Manthe. I am a sophomore goalkeeper at Adams State University looking to transfer in the fall of 2024. The main reason I want to transfer is to receive a higger level of education so that I can be admitted to medical school following graduation in 2026. During the 2023 season, I made 81 saves in 11 games and was blessed with all-conference honorable mentions. During the 2023 season, I was also the captain of the team. I am a 4.0 student and will be getting my associate's degree at the end of the spring term. I am a psychology major looking to concentrate in neuropsychology but that is not a must.
I am originally from Portland Oregon where I attended Westview High School and play for F.C. Portland. I lettered for 4 years on the men's soccer and wrestling teams and was captain of both teams in my junior and senior years.
My strengths are leadership and discipline. I value the team culture and high-quality coaching.
