Personal Statement

My name's Jaden Igarta and I'm a Junior Forward/Striker from Portland, Oregon. Whenever I'm on the field, I focus on taking advantage of the opponent's weaknesses and leading the team to win. I use my tactical and technical knowledge to be a leader for my teammates and hold them accountable in order to succeed. My best characteristics are my determination, high confidence, and grit. Since July of 2021, I have scored 13 goals and had 8 assists in 24 games for club and high school. Also, I have been a two-year starter and key player for the Ida. B Wells varsity team. Earlier this year, I attended the Olympic Development Program (ODP) West Regional Camp in Denver, Colorado, and was selected for the 2005B ODP West Region Pool. In 2019, I played as a center back for the Portland Timbers Academy. Off the field, I am a 4.0 Honors student taking AP Calculus as a Sophomore. If I were on your team, you'd have a natural and determined leader that will command the team to succeed and win.
