Two experiences during my time in high school changed who I am as a person and how I look at certain goals. As a junior, our high school team competed in the Pennsylvania state tournament after finishing first in the district. In the same year, I placed 5th in the district for wrestling. Both of these experiences taught me that I need to train harder than the athlete next to me in order to ameliorate my results. I learned that everything in life is a direct reflection of my prior actions. They directed my focus and passion playing as a midfielder at the college level.
Paramountly, soccer has taught me how to compete, work on a team, develop confidence, and build determination. These skills carried on to the way I learn and apply myself academically. My academic goals for high school are to finish with a 4.0 GPA and receive a score of 1200 on the SAT exam. In the future, my goal is to enroll in a college that will hold a higher standard for me, both with academics and athletics. As a two-sport athlete, it is unequivocal that I not only possess talent and determination, but I also carry skills in leadership and character which will immediately enhance your program.
