Andrew Mangold '24 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted to play soccer at a higher level. Starting with club soccer from such a young age allowed me to grow my competitive spirit and love for the game. Having a ball at my feet and being in the moment I know that the field is the place I want to be. I believe that when I am on the field whether it may be in the back line, or on the wing I am able to show leadership and provide benefit to any team that I am apart of.  What sets me aside from other players is my ability to keep my head in the game, whether it may be fans chirping, the other teams chatter, or at some times even my own teammates I am able to stay collected and process the game as I normally do. Staying calm minded for me helps me provide effective communication to myself and others around me in stressful times no matter the situation that we are in.
