Hi. My name is Richard Thorsten Lutkins and I am a student athlete from Camp Hill, PA, who would love to pursue soccer at the college level. I consider myself a person with a penchant for athletics. Ever since I could crawl, I have loved to engage in all sports and have been lucky to play three sports throughout most of elementary, middle and high school; soccer, basketball and baseball.
As I get closer to the start of college, I continue to work on my soccer fitness and skills throughout the year. I also enjoy a fierce game of high school varsity basketball. I am an Assistant Coach for middle school soccer, basketball camps and a Baseball Challenger Buddy for kids with disabilities. Although sports involvement is an integral part of my life, so is school. I have great friends and teachers that I enjoy talking to and seeing every day. My favorite classes this year are: AP United States History, Honors English and Honors French. I also like AP Stats. (My teacher is also my high school soccer coach).
I am looking for a college that challenges me academically and has a rigorous and competitive soccer team that I can help be successful. I am an intellectual player who is fiercely competitive and understands what is needed to win. I have been a varsity starter defender for four years and a captain for two years. This year I helped lead my team to the PIAA state championship, our school's 1st championship victory since 2017. I was named Lebanon Valley College Player of the Game and have also been named to Mid Penn Boys Soccer All Star team. I am looking forward to finding a good fit at the collegiate level.
