Bailee Verdill '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior at Clarion High School. My school team is a coop with neighboring Clarion Limestone.  I am the forward on the team, but have played effectively as a center mid as well.  I have been named UAVSL MVP for the second year in a row.

Two years ago we made it to the D9 Championship game which was played November 5 at Brockway, against Brockway. This is the first time a CL team has made it this far! My brother and I each had a hat trick against Kane to get us here!!

This year we lost to ECC in the quarterfinal match.  We did accomplish some firsts this season…. we beat Karns City for the first time in team history. We beat DuBois for the first time ever. We beat Brockway …. twice!

I also play spring/summer soccer with the Brookville Tribe coached by Dave Reitz.  As a member of that team I have played as a center-mid, but coach always tells me I am a "utility player that can fit in on the field anywhere."  I have attended several Adidas Showcase and Combines with my club team.

I am a good team leader and teammate.  I like seeing everyone on the team succeed! I always try to keep everyone upbeat and giving it all until the final whistle blows. I am also a PA West certified official (since I was 14).  My lifelong dream has been to not only play soccer in college, but to play at the professional level.
