When I began playing soccer at 4 years of age, it didn't take long to figure out that I wanted to play at the highest level possible throughout my life. My training and playing experience throughout the years have contributed to my personal development both on and off the field, instilling qualities in me such as discipline, passion, commitment, and competitiveness. I am proud to be a coachable athlete who accepts advice and utilizes criticism to make me a better athlete and person.
On the field I train hard year round. I have had the good fortune to work with amazing coaches at different levels (rec, competitive travel, middle & high school, ODP, and semi-pro) who have encouraged me every step of the way. In goal I think quick, and have great handling and distribution skills. I possess leadership qualities that allow me to support my teammates, whether to encourage or motivate them, or cheer them on in celebration. I recognize the importance of controlling my emotions and correcting my mistakes, and I strive to be a good role model to my teammates in this respect.
In the classroom I work hard to maintain good grades. I participate in extra-curricular clubs and activities which have helped make me a well rounded person, and have introduced me to a variety of peers, other than just fellow athletes.
My goal is to attend and play for a college at the highest level possible where I can continue to challenge myself academically and athletically, while making my team and college community proud. I am ready to take on the challenge!
