Justin Angelo '23 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to attend a university with a strong academic reputation that will prepare me for a successful career in the sciences, where I can play soccer and be a strong contributor to the program.

In the classroom I maintain a 3.7 GPA. My first year of high school ball, I was the starting Junior Varsity goalie. As a sophomore, I earned Varsity by being the backup to an All-Pioneer Conference senior. I was the starting Varsity keeper both Junior and Senior years. I also compete on the high school tennis team. 

My travel soccer career has allowed me to play for a few great clubs and with my current team, the Philadelphia Ukrainians as goalkeeper. I have also been a guest player for teams because of my ability to play the field in multiple positions. 

I am an anchor for my teams because I am closely aligned with my coaches; and I'm vocal on the field helping all players execute our game plan. I am a smart player, with excellent technical skills, good field vision, unselfish play and a gritty tenacity to win the ball in the box. 

I am looking for a challenging school both academically and athletically. I get along with everyone and I maintain an infectious positive attitude on and off the pitch.
