Josiah Ramirez '19 Recruiting Profile

I was born and raised in Guatemala where soccer was the only sport played so naturally I fell in love with it. I have 7 older brothers that I grew up playing with and against. Growing up in a competitive environment has made me a stronger person and athlete. Being raised in Guatemala has taught me to appreciate everything that the States has to offer in terms of opportunities and development.  I've played with academy teams (PA Classics in Manheim, PA) in the States, and I've been abroad to play in various high level tournaments (Costa Rica, Mexico). 

My high-school team (Lower Dauphin) has been back to back State Champions for the last two years. I had a hand in winning each of those titles for the team and I'm hoping to do it again. My goal for my last year in high school is to win a 3rd State title in a row. My goal at the collegiate level is to continue developing as a soccer player so I can reach my ultimate goal of playing soccer professionally.
