Thomas Higgins 20...Personal Statement
I am the goalkeeper for the FC Pittsburgh 05 Gold team which I am a captain for and my high school, West Allegheny High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and have 6 years of experience at the club level. My club team advanced to the USYS Regional presidents cup this past summer as well the GLA playoffs which got us promoted to the NPL division for this upcoming season. I am a vocal and positive leader on the field and a great teammate off the field. I am a good student in the class room, having above a 3.8 GPA both years of highschool plus the start of my junior year so far.
In college I am looking for a school that has a reputable academic prestige and soccer program. I ultimately want to find the school that has the best fit for me no matter the division. I believe I have what it takes to play at the next level and succeed.
