Hi, thanks for your interest in my Player Profile. My name is Dean Howard. I am an enthusiastic soccer Goalkeeper who will be graduating with the class of 2025 (from Malvern Prep in suburban Philadelphia). Like many, I began my soccer career when I was 5 or 6 years old. Unlike others, I started as a field player for the first 5+ years. Then, I realized my agility, athleticism, and determination were best served as a Goalie. By the time I reached high school, I had switched to a full-time, 100% focused, and trained Goalkeeper. I am highly confident with the ball at my feet after years as a field player (Soccer + Futsal). As a Goalkeeper, I am aggressive, alert, and quick to make decisions. I believe my ability to organize a defense helps set me apart. I am likely the most vocal player (GK or field) you will hear at any game.
As a student, I maintain a 4.01 GPA in my junior year, including 3 Honors classes. When I graduate from Malvern Prep in 2025, I am interested in finding a College / University that holds students to high academic standards and offers a competitive men's soccer program.
