Hi, my name is Alex Garbin. I play right back for South Fayette High School. In the fall of 2023, as a freshman for my high school, I started varsity in 23 of our games as a freshman with greater than 1800 minutes on the field in our 2023 season. My high school team won the WPIAL 3A (PIAA District 7) championship. I have also played for the Riverhounds Development Academy since 2020. I am currently on the Riverhounds U16 ECNL Regional League team. I have loved the sport of soccer since I was four years old. The teamwork and quick thinking needed to play had made it a perfect match for me. My work ethic in and out of practice has always been no nonsense and to put in 100% no matter what it is I’m doing. Aside from club and school practices, I spend a lot of time conditioning and speed training. I work out every morning prior to leaving for school to maintain and build muscle. A strong academic focus is important to me as well. I see myself in a medical field, possibly pharmacy, in the future. In college I hope to pursue soccer while still balancing academics.
