Severin Dengel '22 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a school that aligns with both my soccer and academic goals beyond high school.  I believe the best fit will be a school that has a rigorous academic program in Finance, Accounting, or Applied Mathematics.  While soccer is very important to me, my education is just as important as evidenced by my current GPA of 4.29 and SAT score of 1350 (94th percentile).  I have broad academic and community involvement interests including concert and jazz bands, and church youth group activities.

I am currently a starting center back on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2004 ECNL team. In addition, I have been a three-year starter and letter winner at the holding midfielder position on my high school team (Moon Area High School - PIAA AAA classification).  I am especially proud of my past season where I was awarded All-District 1st Team Honors (WPIAL 3A) and my high school team reached the district quarter-finals. My personal playing style is hard-working, fast, and gritty, with a defense-first mentality.  I enjoy making defensive stops and quickly starting the play in the other direction.
