My name is Hubert Herrera and my graduation year is 2019. My primary position is forward and also play middle. My father wo was a former profesional Peruvian Soccer player introduced me to the sport of soccer at the early age of 4. My father and older sister, who at the age 16 was selected to the Peruvian Women National Soccer team, are my biggest technical advisers. We are definitely a soccer family. Since that early age I fell in love with the sport. I played in an International Soccer tournament in South America with my currently travel team, ‘Cantolao USA’. I’ve played for the Philadelphia Union Youth Soccer team and I also play for the Olympic Developmental Program (ODP). I played for my High School team since freshman year and I was honored for three years on the Wyoming Valley Conference Coaches All Stars first team. My High School team won in the fall of 2017, the PIAA District II AAA championship. I ended the 2017 season as the top scorer in my conference with 23 goals 10 assists. I was named ‘All State’ by the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association. Last but not least named by two newspapers ‘2017 Soccer Player All Star’ and by the Citizen Voice, ‘Soccer Player of the Year 2017’. I believe in the incredible opportunity to be a team player because no matter of my individual successes, my team success is my ultimate goal.
