Growing up on a two-hundred-acre farm has taught me many things and has shaped me into the person I am today. Through my family’s farm, I have learned the true meaning of hard work ever since I was a little kid. Among other things, I began to trim our miles of fence rows with a weedwhacker when I was just ten years old. Time management is one of the biggest things I have learned throughout my years on the farm. On weekdays I go to school, go to practice, and then put a few hours in the farm work before dark. After dark, I have to study and do homework. I cannot waste any time because I would not be able to complete everything I need to in time. The biggest thing I have learned in my years is the importance of family. Our farm has no people outside of my family that work on it. Without each other, our farm would not be successful. We all have our own strengths that we contribute to the farm.

I am looking for a school that will satisfy me both on the field and in the classroom. Throughout my life I have learned the importance of hard work, work-ethic and a team first mentality. I have a wide variety of skills that will make me an asset to your program.
