I love playing soccer and I want to continue my soccer career at the college level in order to satisfy my needs for competition. The sport has helped me manage my own confidence and grow on and off the field. My coaches have encouraged me to take risks and propel me out of my comfort zone and this has pushed me to evolve into a more complete soccer player.
At William Penn Charter High School we are taught the importance of balancing our academic and athletic careers, and I know I will be able to manage the two effectively at the collegiate level. Off the field, I am an honor roll student who is looking to be at a school that is academically challenging and takes my education to new heights. As a soccer player, I am a reliable defender who doesn’t let anyone beat me to the ball. Two of my attributes include that I am focused under duress and I am also very fast. My speed allows me to stay with and outrun attacking players, put immediate pressure on the ball, quickly disrupt passing lanes, and recover defensively from almost anywhere on the field.
I would like to attend college where I can pursue a career film and video. I would prefer to be in an urban or suburban area near a city, but I am open to anywhere that challenges me academically and athletically.
