My name is Andrew Walsh and my collegiate goal is to play soccer in college (whether D1, D2, D3, or NCIA). I aspire to have success at this level, work my way up, become a better soccer player ( physically, mentally, and technically), develop a strong bond with teammates and coaches, and to enjoy the moments of experiencing the beautiful game at such a high level. I believe I am a good candidate for my ability on the field: specifically defending and passing. In addition, there are traits that separate me from others on the field: my ability to be coachable and adjustability to different styles, my work ethic (always eager to get better), and a winning mentality. I can also be separated from others on the education aspect of things. I have attended Catholic grade school for over 11 years and Central Catholic for two, with a 3.85 unweighted and 4.4 weighted GPA. I started in basic classes, but have progressed to all Honors and APs in the span of 2 years, which is a good example of my determination to be better.
