Seth Glenn '24 Recruiting Profile

Unlike many other players, I cannot say I have been playing soccer all my life, I wish I had all that time and experience; however,  because I moved around a lot during my elementary and junior high years, soccer or sports, in general, weren't always possible. I did not know that I loved soccer so much; however, once I started playing I couldn't stop and have been pursuing this passion for the last four years.

My training includes playing for my local club and high school teams and hours of personal training.  My training routine initially focused on footwork, agility, speed, and endurance. My best skills are ball control and dribbling, and I train daily to increase my speed and agility.  My most recent season helped me understand the importance of scanning the field and passing quickly.

I understand that I am behind in the soccer standard in terms of experience; I have not played since I was a small child, but my dedication and work ethic have allowed me to reach the same level as my peers and become a usable and helpful player for my teams. I became a starter for both my club and high school team. 

This year I was able to play in Pennsylvania for a highly competitive team.  The training and game time in Pennsylvania made me a better player and increased my game knowledge. 

My soccer goal is to make it as far as I can.  I want to play at a high level, and continuing to play during college is the goal I am focusing on right now.
