Ever since I was little I’ve always wanted to play sports, but no sport ever seemed to fit me. I tried football, basketball, baseball and neither was the right fit. I’ve always loved the game of soccer but never competed in it until a coach saw me one day playing in school and immediately asked me to be on his team. I was 12 years old. For many people it was too late in the game for me and nobody knew who I really was, but instead of quitting I showed them who I could be. I’ve put in countless hours of practice to try and get back years of training that I never had. I never stopped pushing myself to be the best I can be. I love the game and no matter where I play I always push myself to be better. I want to play at the next level because I believe I can and I won’t stop until I get to that level, and then the next level, then the next. I used to be a tri-sport athlete, soccer, basketball and track, and I think I have a lot of athleticism and a lot of speed. My teams always take advantage of my speed and can always rely on me to be able to get a long ball that goes behind the defense. I am also very good at using my body, and although I will never be the biggest person on the field, I still always use my body to keep possession. These are some reasons why I deserve to play at the college level.
