Ramon Cobian '26 Recruiting Profile

Ive been tagged as Puerto Rico's Top 2026 Soccer Prospect by several sports analysts for 24-25 and also part of the Surf Select East U17 Team.    I am a multi-purpose, leader and effective midfielder/defender and  the Puerto Rico Surf 2008 team captain as well as the only junior Captain in my school's varsity team.  My school coach has helped me develop leadership qualities that help me realize how sportsmanship sometimes is a bigger influencer on the field than competitiveness and this leads me to look play for colleges or universities that  enable my growth alongside my education.   My Club team has been the Elite/top Club 2008  and three time National Champs  in Puerto Rico (Surf 2008 Blue) and as part of that team,  my skills and abilities were highlights in tournaments like the 2023 MIC Cup in Barcelona Spain (semi finalists).  This semester I am one of the youngest members of the First Division Club team (Superior), honing in my skills with the 18+ team as the key starting CAM. My goal is to play for the team in whichever business program I choose and continue to develop my leadership as well as my competitiveness and abilities in soccer.
