Luis Soler '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was eight years old. Since I first started playing this sport, I felt a deep passion for this sport, and I always wanted to play soccer for a very long time. I have played soccer in my school, and in a local team for five years. Now that I’m going to college I want to be able to keep paying soccer, especially for the college team. As well as that, I want to represent my country in the States. I want to show the people of what I am capable of doing and my potential for the future.  

I consider myself a very enthusiastic, and motivated person in and out the field. I take this sport very seriously when practicing and especially playing the games. I have good technical skills as in shooting, passing, first touch control, penalty taking and composure. Other than those technical skills I also have very good mental and physical attributes. With these attributes I hope I can contribute to the college teams. I also consider myself a team player, I have always play for the team, because I have always believed that playing in teamwork is what make all of those famous clubs win trophies.

What make me different from other players and be the right is because I have played in different countries. I have played in Italy and Spain, and I honestly think that thanks to these experiences and this opportunities, I have gain more knowledge not only for myself, but to be able to compare against other people with their level of intensity and professionalism they in and out the field. I also want to be able to overcome any obstacles I have to take to enter to a good college both in the academic and athletic way. I am a very dedicated and hard working person, and I will push my self to do everything in the classroom and in the field. I intend to make my parents proud and to become a model for future generations. I am open to any university or college who is interested in me.
