Hello, my name is Gabriel Garcia. I’m 17 years old, my aspirations are to become a famous soccer player. My college goal is to finish with a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Entertainment management. I consider myself as an ideal candidate for the team as I have good communication skills, bilingual in Spanish and English, am consistent in goals as a striker, and if needed, I could flex into different positions around the field.
A good state of mind makes a player more focused and interested in the game. I like to think of myself as an all-around positive person who can keep my teammates motivated at all times. Some of my personal athletic traits are: I’m fast, I have more than enough stamina to run the whole game, have great ball control and can easily and quickly adapt to other teammates to create a good strategic combination. I consistently show the same tenacity in school as I do on the soccer field. I have been placed on the honor roll numerous times during my tenure at school for outstanding grades.
Life as a student-athlete is never a simple task, but is always determined by ones level of motivation. High motivation in finding the answer to the quadratic equation is not any different to sprinting towards the ball on a tackle. If I want it, I will do everything possible to get it. This is why I would love to be considered as a candidate to your institution.
