I started playing soccer competitively when I was 8 years old. I enjoyed the sport from the first time I stepped on the field. Over the years that I have spent playing I have learned that I can adjust very easily in any situation I’m in. Starting my high school year I knew I had to earn my spot. I worked hard at every practice and ended up getting voted as varsity captain my freshman year. The coach was very surprised with my work ethic. My freshman year ended in a first round lost in the playoffs. After that defeat a switch flicked in my head and I was determined to work as hard as I possibly could. I had to become a leader, I had to push my teammates to a level that they never thought they could reach. One unique characteristic that I have is that I never give up and I never stop trying to improve. I am very dedicated to do my best academically and on the field as well.
Every chance I get I go to a nearby field and I run some drills with myself to improve on all my skills. I am very good at motivating my teammates to put in extra work to make themselves better because there is always room for improvement. If one of my teammates needs help with anything I try my best to help them on and off the field. I go on 3 mile jogs before every training session I have. My goal is to make it to a college that fits me as best as possible. Not only for soccer but that fits me academically as well. I want to major in Business Management. I like being in a close family type of environment. Like an environment that you feel comfortable in very quickly and you feel very supported.
