My Name is Connor Jackson, class of 2022, winger/outside midfielder for Charlotte Independence U19 Pro Academy’s upcoming season. My secondary positions are forward, and left back. My proficiency with both feet and technical ability allow me to play multiple positions depending on my teams need. I have explosive speed with the ability to get behind the back line. I am also able to accurately service crosses in the air with both feet and slot from the end line to the 6. I thrive in 1 v 1’s situations going by players when attacking and making tackles defensively.
As a member of GPS Carolina Elite I competed in the 39th and 40th annual Dallas Cup advancing to the elite 8 each year. In June of 2019 as a member of GPS Charlotte 04 Summer Elite as a team we won the U16 Super Division US Club Soccer National Cup XVIII Championship in Denver, Colorado.
As a student athlete I see the importance of success in the classroom and on the field. I am an honors/AP student maintaining above a 4.5 GPA. My goal is to further my education at a competitive 4 year college. My work ethic, determination and skill set will be a great addition to any program with an ultimate goal of playing at the highest level possible.
