I've been playing soccer since I was five, and it's one of the first (and best) memories I have. I have looked up to Ronaldo for the longest time; finding out he scored his first hat trick on my birthday was pretty awesome. In my experience playing, I've always been told I'm super coachable, motivated, adaptable, and hard-working. I have played in a variety of positions and done well; I played center back with my travel team, goalie last season for my school team, and I'm currently playing midfield, rotating between right and center. I was awarded Most Valuable Player for my work in goal and I strive to excel in whatever position I'm assigned. I have a positive but competitive mentality and I pride myself on pepping the team up when we're down and motivating them to keep going. I'm not afraid to be vocal and direct my teammates to help set them up for success on the field. In regard to academics, I'm currently taking two honors classes while in my freshman year and have a 3.8 GPA, which I plan on maintaining and improving throughout the course of my highschool years and on into college. My family has hosted coaches from overseas for several years for camps I have attended, and I plan on attending as many training camps and competitions as I am able to improve my skills and capitalize on receiving feedback from instructors with different points of view and playing styles so as to become a more well-rounded player.
