Soccer has always been my main passion ever since I was 5 years old. I played rec soccer from the ages 5-8, which is when I started playing for the Tennessee United Soccer Club. I played for Tennessee United for 9 years. However, for my final year of club soccer I am playing for the Tennessee Soccer Club 98 boys showcase team. I have also played high school soccer at Merrol Hyde Magnet School, where I have been a starter since eighth grade. I believe one of my strongest qualities is my passion and work ethic on the field. I used to be the starting goalkeeper when I first began to play club. So when I first started to play on the field, I struggled to get playing time for years. But I had the motivation to get outside training and work as hard as I can. Then I became the captain for the team I used to not be good enough to play for and I also played every minute of 2 seasons straight. Because of my passion and work ethic, I would make a great player for any college team because even if I struggle at first, I will not give up but rather work harder and try to make myself and my team mated better. I also like to think of myself as an on the field leader because I am almost always the loudest and most talkative person on the pitch and I get along with everyone on my team. Other than soccer I have also played basketball since I was 5 years old however basketball was always been my secondary sport.
Academics are important to me and it is also one of my strengths. I go to Merrol Hyde Magnet School, which is ranked in the top 100 academic high schools in the nation, where I take all honors classes as well as several AP classes while maintaining a 3.4 GPA and a 32 on my ACT. I have an undecided major however I am thinking about a business major and a minor in spanish.
Other things I am interested in is fishing and playing video games. I usually go on 2-3 fishing trips a year with family. Some of my favorite video games include FIFA, NBA 2K, and Call of Duty.
