My collegiate goal is to continue my soccer career as a goalkeeper in a Division II or III University while advancing my education and completing my degree in nuclear engineering or physics. I possess a strong work ethic both on and off the field.
I am a senior at Christian Academy of Knoxville where I have played varsity soccer for the past three years. My high school team’s schedule begins in February 2018 where I will be the senior goalkeeper. In the 2017 season, I logged four starts, three clean sheets, and a save percentage of .827. For highlights during my junior year season see the link at the bottom of the passage. My club experience over the last six years is with Knoxville Soccer Academy under the direction of Derek Broadley, Academy Director. During my time with Knoxville Soccer Academy, I have had opportunities to train with Victor Bettinelli, Fulham FC Goalkeeper Coach and most recently Francious Dubourdeau, the former Assistant and Goalkeeper Coach at Carson Newman University. Throughout my years with Knoxville Soccer Academy, my training included understanding the player profile of what skills mentally, tactically, technically, and physically a goalkeeper must possess and the application of each one on the field. I continue to stay focused on training and executing each skill.
I currently maintain a GPA of 4.0 and achieved a 31 on my ACT exam. Academically I continue to challenge myself by taking AP/Honors classes focusing on math and science. During high school I have been a member of Christian Academy of Knoxville’s “Spirit of Praise Ensemble”. Outside of school I participate in various extracurricular activities which include singing in the student choir and praise team at my church. In addition I have achieved the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo America along with being a level two instructor.
