Strength, speed, and coordination are attributes that most soccer players who want to play in college possess. What sets me apart is that along with these physical attributes, I am a cerebral player. I diagnose space, strategy, and temperament of my opponent. I have the ability to recognize and process what is happening on the field accurately and act decisively, faster than others. This skill not only puts me in a position to succeed, but it also provides me the vision to steer the rest of my team. I diffuse plays before they even happen on defense and guide my team on the attack. If you watch me, you will see all this come out in my play.
My name is Isaac Dorsey and I play outside and center back for the nationally ranked Germantown Legends 04 NL as well as for Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, TN. I am 5'9”, 145 lbs., and will graduate in 2022. I am a full diploma candidate in the International Baccalaureate Program and carry a GPA of 3.84.
I aspire to attend a university that not only challenges me athletically, but academically as well. I am interested in the Law; the characteristics of my mental soccer game carry over to the area of law: analyzing an issue, thinking quickly of resolutions, and keeping a calm head coupled with an aggressive attack.
