Hi, coaches. My Name is Yadiel Cardona. I've been playing soccer since I was five years old. All through my childhood, soccer has been my life, and I am still in love with the sport. It has been my passion, and I couldn't go a day without playing the sport. Soccer is a lifestyle because it’s part of my life, my DNA, something I have worked hard to improve daily. I've had my ups and downs, but it has made me who I am today. My goal has been wanting to play college ever since I started playing. I have the skills, work ethic, and passion to play for any college that gives me an opportunity. A few things about me are that I always give my best, even if it's practice or a scrimmaging game. I am very competitive, even if it’s a scrimmage game, and I try to learn from every mistake. If we lose a match, I try not to let that get to me and know from it to improve as a player and see how I can be better for the next game. I am my foremost critic, being even harder on myself than my teammates and coaches. A team is like a family. Always try to learn from each other and help each other on and outside the field.
Thank you for the opportunity.
