I am interested in robotics, math, and music (percussion & choir). I realize that to pursue a career in these fields I will need a college degree. My collegiate goals are to obtain a scholarship in either sports or academics or possibly both to help me accomplish my career goals. I am a good candidate because I am a team player, and I am dedicated to the sport. I love soccer, winning at the game and helping my teammates win too. I have played it my whole life and have had the good fortune to be able to play in school and in club. In thinking about what makes me different from other recruits, I thought about being a good person, keeping my word and following through on what I say. I thought about being a good athlete and striving to continually improve myself and my skills. I also thought about my academic accomplishments and that I am trying to maintain a 3.7 GPA or higher. I know there will be many other student athletes that have some or all of these attributes in common, however I know that the commitment, dedication, and determination to do whatever it takes to succeed at school and in sports is one of my greatest strengths.
