My ultimate goal is to play soccer at any collegiate level, while earning a Bachelor's degree in my field of study. It is my ambition to bring my skills, athletic ability and knowledge of the game to the soccer field. My hard work ethic, both on and off the field, would provide me the opportunity to achieve this goal. As a three sport athlete, I became a varsity starter in baseball and soccer as a sophomore, and a varsity starter in hockey as a freshman. I know and understand the value of hard work and how to earn the chance to play. As a student athlete, I am a respectful and trustworthy team player, earning a captain position of the soccer team as a junior. I bring communication skills, leadership, energy, motivation and patience to the team. On the soccer field, I deliver good speed, I create offense and see the field and know where my teammates are on the field. I demand the ball and the size of my opponent doesn't matter to me. I give 100% effort the entire game. I play hard and do what it takes to win a ball in the air or a tackle on the field. At the end of the game, I take responsibility for my performance and I own it, learning from my mistakes and celebrating the accomplishments. Also, when the game is over, win or lose, I walk off the field showing respectful behavior. Being a good sport and conducting good sportsmanship is a reflection of myself, the team and the school. I would be a great asset to a college soccer program. I have the desire to become a better soccer player and the ability to work hard in the classroom. I believe I will succeed with my soccer career and my personal life choices with the positive attitude I bring to the field, the classroom and to life in general.
