2021 Highlights`Personal Statement
Focused. Determined. Passionate. Intelligent. Coachable. Compassionate. These are but a few of my characteristics. I set high standards for myself both on and off the field and I always strive to do my best. On the field, the same effort is given the first 10 minutes as the last 10 minutes. There is never a question of whether I am giving it my all. I typically play as a forward, attacking midfielder or winger and as a natural left-footed person, can easily play on both sides of the field. During the Fall 2021 season, I scored 28% of the team's goals which resulted in our team qualifying for the NLA Championship Tournament. During the Fall 2022 season I was the leading scorer and helped the team win the VA State Cup, became finalists for the ENCL-R playoffs and competed for the National Cup Championship, missing the finals by point differential. In high school, I've been the leading scorer in 2023 (19 goals) and 2022 and was named to the 1st Team All District both years in which I've played varsity.
I seek to learn from coaches, teachers and my peers and know that I also serve as a role model for others. I work hard to maintain a balance between school, athletics and life. I am excited about the next phase of my soccer career and seeking a school that helps me take that next step.
