My name is Kendell Britt, and I am currently a senior at Christiansburg High School, Christiansburg, Virginia. My graduation year is 2022.
I started playing recreation league soccer, moving to academy level, made the Blue Ridge Soccer League (BRSL) team, and advanced to the Skyline League . I am currently playing on a 03/04 team with New River United in the Club Champions League (CCL) each fall and playing on the Christiansburg High School Varsity team each spring. I currently play center back on my CCL team.
I made the Christiansburg High School JV team during my eighth grade year as a starter, playing as a holding midfielder. In addition, I played striker with the JV team. I have played on the Christiansburg High School Varsity team since my freshman year and I have been a starter all four years. During my freshman, sophomore and junior years I played left back and sometimes I played center defensive mid. I am currently playing center back and I'm rotated to other positions as needed.
I have been serious about soccer since I had a club director tell me that the kids who put their foot on the ball at home are the kids that grow into great soccer players and eventually play in college. I plan to continue to play each fall with the NRU travel team and spring with the high school team. I am planning to play soccer in college, while also getting a great education.
