My family moved to the US from Macedonia, a small country in Southeast Europe 15 years ago when I was one year old. Soccer has always been the number #1 sport in my family. I started playing when I was 6 with great dedication from my father who always found time to take me to practices and games, while settling down in the US. When my mother’s job took us to Israel, at the age of 10, I was playing at the Youth premier soccer league team Beitar Jerusalem. I am very passionate to succeed, never taking a break from soccer. Every summer after I wrap up the season at my club in Virginia, I fly to my home country, Macedonia, and spend two months at an academy led by former professional soccer players. This diverse background and experience helped me grow as a player that is ready to play at the college level.
My parents always put a great emphasis on education as one of the pillars of success in the US. Therefore, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I am a hard worker with a great passion for the game, waking up at 5 am to practice and using every spare moment to improve myself while maintaining a high GPA. Whether I’m starting or coming off the bench, I will always bring energy to the game and give 100%. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character and work-ethic to make an immediate impact on your program.
