Elijah Smith '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Elijah Smith. I am very dedicated, take the sports I play serious, and have a great team spirit. My character is very outgoing and strong. My athletic skills are constantly improving and my mind set is unbeatable. I am extremely dedicated, athletically and academically. I give it my all on and off the field. Once I put my mind to something, no one can tell me I can't do it.

I was born in Germany where I lived for ten years, but I now reside in Gloucester, VA. I have been playing soccer since the age of 6 and now I play for Bluefield College as a right back. I used to attend Gloucester High School where I held a GPA of 3.28. In the past, I have played at the ODP State level in Europe as well other high-level German soccer teams like FK Pirmasens and FC Astoria Walldorf. I am also a former Keystone Vice President in which I have done much community and volunteer work.

I am an extremely hard worker and to play at the collegiate level is a great way to continue working hard. I have been working hard every day to achieve my goals.  I plan on becoming a sports agent so I can help athletes reach the next level. This is why I plan on taking sports management when I go to college. I am very excited to continue my studies and play soccer.
