I would like to attend a school and receive the highest quality education and continue playing soccer. The position I play is a forward for my team, in which I not only scores goals, but have great link up plays with my teammates as I get along with everyone well. I can also hold up the play efficiently when it is required. I do believe that I was able to overcome some obstacles to get to where I am today, such as time management, and by developing my skills to be in both Travel soccer and high school JV soccer.
One of the challenges of being an athlete is to balance both academic studies and time on the field. One such factor is remaining focused and committed in both fields. Playing soccer has shown me how I can be committed to anything I want in life, and maintain equilibrium with those two factors.
I have a goal of playing soccer in college and to learn more about the game from coaches. I am sure that I will give 110% both on and off the field. Last year in my sophomore year at Mclean High School, I was awarded the MIP for the 2016-2017 season of the JV squad, had a team record of 10-2-2, and maintained a GPA of 3.9 while playing for MYS Gold 2001 team (travel) in the National Capital Soccer League NCSL at the same time.
