I was born with soccer in my blood, my mom is German born and raised, and played soccer herself for 12 years. I was born in 2001 at the university hospital in Giessen, Germany (Universitätsklinikum Giessen). My grandmother is “Referentin für Mädchenfussball in Süddeutschland und Hessen”. My mom married my dad, who was serving in Germany in the Army. When he returned stateside he studied at the University of Alabama, where he obtained his Bachelors in history.
I’ve played soccer all my life. Since I could walk. I’ve tried other sports as well and went to State with our Little League Team, but always came back to my favorite sport soccer.
My favorite position is in the defense. I have played every position throughout my years and defense is where I feel I can contribute the most to my team.
I have played under a lot of coaches, who all taught very different styles, and was able to adapt quickly.
My strong points are my calmness, passing, reading the field. I don’t get flustered and stay calm under pressure.
Sports is not all though. I am an “almost“ straight A student with the occasionally B. I have taken my PSAT in the fall and scored well on it. My strengths are math and language. I am interested in civil engineering and software engineering.
