I began playing soccer during my 8th grade school year because it looked like fun and I was interested in trying something new. I didn’t realize I’d fall in love with this exciting sport. I’ve developed as a leader on and off the field by playing soccer and mentoring younger players. Because I started playing later than many of my peers, I have worked hard to keep a growth mindset and improve my talent as a goalkeeper. I want to play soccer in college so that I can continue to be a role model to others as well as grow more as an athlete and individual. I am coachable, eager to compete at the college level, and dedicated to pursuing my dream of being a student-athlete while pursuing a career in the field of environmental science in college.
