My name is Cameron Ashley and I am a goalkeeper in the class of 2022 from Redmond, Washington. I have played my entire soccer career with the Crossfire Premier organization - the last 7 years at the A/ECNL competition level. Before focusing strictly on soccer, I played for the A team in club/travel basketball. Relentlessly competing and hard-work have allowed me to continue at a high level of sports throughout my life and I am looking to bring this same attitude to college. As a freshman I captained the freshman soccer team and the last two years I have been on varsity - starting as a junior. Leadership has always been a strong trait that I've had, encouraging teammates, pre-game speeches, etc. Being a captain of the freshman team, I am looking to captain the varsity team as a senior this year.
In college, I am looking to attend somewhere that offers both competitive athletics as well as being somewhere that I can earn a meaningful degree. I want to go to a program that offers a feeling of brotherhood and camaraderie - a program where I will feel at home on the field. It is also important to me that I play for a competitive team, I would love to help a team continue it's success or rebuild into a successful program.
