Kellen plays Semi-Pro soccer for West Seattle Junction FC (ID #: USL-55732), Elite Academy 1 - Valencia CF of Seattle (Starter), O'Dea High School - Seattle Metro League (Starter).

Kellen is a life-long soccer fan. Starting at 3 years old, he progressed through his local rec club, playing 2 years up to keep up with his talent level. He moved to our local Premier Club for a greater challenge. With HPFC, he played Striker, but attended every Keeper training with a desire to learn the mentality of the Keeper. He spent 4 years with this club, but ultimately found he again that he was outgrowing the team. Their level of competition and training was not going to help him achieve his ultimate goal, to play ball in College.

 He was accepted into the Valencia CF Academy – Seattle 4 years ago as a walk on. He transitioned to primary Goalkeeper for their M06 team. He is a guest player for M07 and M06AA where we continues to play the 9.  At 6'6” with a size 15 boot, he's a force to be reckoned in the box. His height makes some of the most challenging shots his easiest to save. He is well respected by his defense, teammates, coaching staff and he has a  clear strong voice across the field commanding his defense and calling the plays of the opponent. He also studies off the field, attending many college and pro matches, traveling to Spain each year to train with Valencia CF Academy, plays Futsal, and attenda pertinent summer training camps, and ID camps. In his free time, he is also a licensed Referee.
