Personal Statement

I am in my senior year at Brookfield Central High School in the fall. I play club soccer for U17 SC Waukesha Blue, and we recently won the 2013 WI State Cup Championship, and we were Finalists in the Region II Championships in Des Moines, IA reaching the Championship game after 4 straight wins over other Region II state champions. That performance allowed us to  advanced to the National Championships in Kansas City in July, where we earned a Bronze Medal. The outstanding achievements of our team in 2013 have given us the opportunity to play in the U18 National League in 2014.

I have earned various personal awards in high school soccer as well, including 1st team all conference twice (2012/2013), team MVP (2012), and WSCA 1st team All State (2013) and honorable mentioned WSCA All State in the fall 2012 high school season.  Our club team is currently rated #1 in the state of Wisconsin, and in the Top 20 teams nationally. We have competed in the MRL Premier Division for the last two seasons, finishing with a winning record each season. We have participated in some of the top showcase tournaments in the country, including the Surf Cup (CA), the Jefferson Cup (VA), the Adidas Blue Chip Classic (OH) twice, the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup (NV), Annandale Cup (VA) and others.

In the short term, I look forward to graduating high school, and have aspirations of winning a second State Cup title with my club team and returning to the Region II Championships. My goal is to play collegiate soccer at a school where I can make a difference. I look forward to a successful college career, and eventually moving into a career in meteorology, environmental sciences, or a business or mathematics field.
