Personal Statement

Ever since I won a state championship with my Hudson club team at the age of 11, I knew I had fell in love with the game. Scoring the only goal of the game while also winning a championship was one of the greatest feelings, something I had never felt in other sports. I started to play up in u13, completely skipping u12. That year I was a key role in winning my second state title in a row. Soccer became the only thing I wanted to do. When I wasn’t playing with my club, I was in the backyard with my brother and friends playing small sided games. I also became a very good juggler because of how much I practiced. During my time at Hudson I played a lot of forward and outside wing so it is something I am comfortable with, but during the last 3 years I have been a solid attacking midfielder for Hudson High School and St Croix Academy. Something I’d really love to achieve in college would be earning either a bachelors degree in business, while also spending those four years being an athlete. I know I can be a good fit for any team because I bring a good energy to the squad, I feel I’m very coachable, and I was chosen to be a leader of my club team when I was named one of the captains. Academically in high school I have strived to do my best, always finishing with A’s and B’s. But in athletics I stand out from others because I have a work ethic like no other. I am always striving to get better and if something was off in a game, I make sure I practice it the next day or ask a coach what I could have done better. I really hope to be continuing playing the beautiful game in the fall of 2022!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
