Charles Ballard '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Charles (Chaz) Ballard. I am a sophomore at Elmore County High School. I have a 3.56/4.0 GPA and I made a 28 on my ACT as a freshmen. I have been swimming for the Montgomery YMCA Barracudas for almost 9 years now. I swim the 100 and 200 breastroke. My official USA Swimming times are 58.3 and 1:08.9 I have a family of 10. I have 2 biological sisters, 2 biological brothers, 2 adopted brothers, and 1 adopted sister. So, it is self evident that I need as much scholarship/financial aid as possible. I went to public school my freshmen and sophomore years, but my parents and I decided that it was in my best interest to homeschool my junior and senior year. I am homeschooling through a homeschooling group and also taking dual-enrollment classes at a local college. I am interested in the field of Political Science/ Human Rights law. I really enjoy swimming and hope that I have the opportunity to swim in school. Thanks for your time
