Jackson Greenwood '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jackson Greenwood. I've been a competitive swimmer for eight year, but I've been swimming for as long as I can remember. I swim because I think that it is really fun. The joy of competing is a big reason I have stayed in the sport. It has taught me valuable lessons that I try to apply to my everyday life. I have had the opportunities to learn and experience that when you are willing to push out of your comfort zone it is surprising what you will be able to accomplish. I love the connections that swimming has allowed me to build with others, like coaches and teammates through team building and creating a healthy, positive team environment, which is something I would say is probably the most important part of swimming for me.  

I enjoy the sciences, especially fields such as marine biology. I enjoy reading and writing. I also like going to the beach and pool, play board and card games with friends.
