I have been swimming competitively at a high level since I started Highschool. I almost qualified for states as a freshman in the 100 backstroke with a 1.00.12. I was just under half a second off. That was the first time I had a taste of a big goal that I wanted to reach. After that season I worked my butt off to end up going into my sophomore year and qualifying for states in multiple events. After that season I really wanted to be on the top so I kept working and I ended up finishing top 10 in the state in the 50 free and 100 free and also making podium in my 400 freestyle relay my junior year. In my senior year I made finals in the 50 free, 100 back, 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay. Both of my relays finished 2nd in the state and I finished 6th in the 100 back and 9th in the 50 free. This year was a blast and I am looking foreword to continuing to swim throughout college. On top of swimming I also played volleyball for 3 years and last year my team won the Arizona division 1 state title. But I have stopped playing volleyball to pursue swimming full time. The work always pay out in the end and the end is near. I can't wait!
