Personal Statement
I am a distance swimmer from Gilbert, Arizona. I have been swimming my entire life, but only got really serious around 2011. Since then, I have been part of an extremely competitive, year round, club swim team. My commitment to swim is second only to my academics. I hope to both compete and further my academic advancement. Being part of a team that respects each other and works to encourage others to do the best they can in both athletics and academics is a big deal to me. I dedicate myself to swim every morning and afternoon practice, and outside of the pool because I know that competing on the college level is what I want to pursue.
