I have always wanted to compete in college at the highest level possible on a team that will give me the biggest challenge and allow me to achieve the most. I have not been swimming as long as some, but try to always work harder than anyone else and step up as a leader when I can. I attend two or more practices a day and also weight train daily. I am a quick learner and am on both my high school team and club team, proving I get along well with all sorts of people. I'm not just there, I am there earlier and ready to work both mentally and physically. College swimming has always been my ultimate dream behind the olympics of course and I will work as hard as I can to get to both. In school I moved back to the states freshmen year and had a bit of a rough transition academics wise, but have began to crack down and have currently a 4.0 GPA as the school year begins and plan to not let it go below that in the slightest until I graduate. I have swam overseas in Nepal, Oman, Chennai and more and have been swimming in Arizona now for two years. My overseas experience has been eye opening and makes for an open mind personally as well, and also contributed a lot to my love for swimming. I think that experience makes me unique to a lot of people wanting to compete at a collegiate level, in addition to my work ethic and drive.
