I am 17 years old, living in Northern Canada. I am currently in grade 12, taking a dual credit program which has enabled me to take two courses at our local university while completing my high school education. I swim at a Youth National level for the Prince George Barracudas under head coach, Jerzy Partyka.
My ambition and dream is to become a doctor, specifically a fetal surgeon, while also following my other passion: swimming. I have planned and directed my studies and extracurricular activities towards accomplishing this goal. I have the mental and physical strength to achieve whatever I set my mind to.
I have consistently demonstrated my ability to achieve high grades, while intensely pursuing swimming. I also work part time at a coffee shop and am the First Aid Attendant when working . These three elements combined have taught me excellent time management skills and the capacity to focus on current and future targets.
I work well on my own and as a part of a team. I look forward to expanding my knowledge base and swim skills.
