Personal Statement

I hope all is well with you and your family during this pandemic. It is unfortunate that we were unable to have a high school swim season during my Junior year. I was counting on this season to lower my 100 Y Breast and 50 Y Free times to hopefully be seen as a more competitive asset to the team. All I can do is give you a brief summary of my swim times and academic record.  (CIF Sac-Joaquin Sectionals) Progress: 100 Y Breast (Frosh:1:05.11 - Soph:1:00.78 - Junior: Training towards 58.3 - Senior: Maybe 56.8) 50 Y Breast (Frosh: 23.79 - Soph: 22.87 - Junior: Training towards 22.2 - Senior: Maybe a 21.8). I am a self-disciplined, organized, and have a great work ethic.
*Note: What I am most proud of is following a lifting program since we have been quarantined. I have put on 15 lbs of muscle mass. I am 5'9 3/4" and weigh 162. I have volunteered as an assistant swim coach, refereed youth soccer games, and interned at Eye2Eye Optometry, and taken college courses.
