James Schreiber '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is James Schreiber and I've been swimming  for around six years competitively now and have been swimming casually many years before that. I started swimming club because of the team environment and how happy it made me. I have kept that same attitude throughout all six years so far and will for many to come but, after the first few years of swimming, competition has become a large part of my life. I aspire to be a college athlete and to continue competing at the highest level. I love to see my teammates and I succeed in the water and out of it. Education is also something I have strived to succeed in, from doing my homework in the car on they way to practice or staying up late afterwards just to ace my next test. In my mind hard work is one of the most important characteristics of an athlete which is why I try my hardest at all times from the first practice of the season up to the end of season meet.
